Been watching NWA World Championship Wrestling from 87 on the network, and I thought Sean Royal could have been a top young star for JCP/WCW.  Did anyone else think there was potential in Sean Royal?

He was definitely talented.  He was good sized, tall and lean...but not too lean (a.k.a....not on the "juice").

I definitely see him doing pretty well in JCP and WCW from 1989-1993...after that...don't really see him doing much.  If he had gotten on the "juice", I definitely can see him in the WWF (he would've been Randy Orton before Randy Orton...but I don't think he would've had that kind of a push).

Royal had a charisma about him that is hard to quantify and he was definitely capable in the ring.

I thought he was great as a babyface in the brief period after the New Breed turned and was a pretty adept heel before that. The only issue preventing Royal going places might have been his less-than-serious approach to the business as a whole. I don't know if he could bring the necessary intensity.
