Michael Norris' surgery went very well, according to his doctor, who said he expects Mike's recovery to be good. Let's keep Diamond lifted up for a complete recovery.

O,K, Here's a not-so-good update on Michael. I received a call half-an-hour ago that Mike's colon re-section surgery has come undone. They have rushed him back to surgery, but don't yet know what they are dealing with. I will follow up as soon as I hear more. Please keep Michael lifted up.

Mike was taken to surgery a few days ago for re-sectioning of his colon. A bit after the surgery the re-section failed. He was returned to see if it was possible to re-do the re-section, but it was not. He has been in ICU since that attempt. Today, the doctors discovered that Michael has sepsis. This is VERY serious! They are going to try a catheter tonight to see how much infection they may be able to remove. If that proves unsuccessful, the surgeons will have to go back in to learn the extent of the infection, and what can be done.
Folks, Michael needs our prayers now, more than ever. This is a hugely disappointing and dangerous turn of events.

Has there been any updates on Michael Norris' condition? I haven't seen anything and of course his podcast Peach State Pandemonium is no longer running.

Michael is in a physical rehabilitation facility in Warm Springs, Georgia. He has some infection issues in one leg. He still needs our prayers. He has been through a very rough time, and still has a distance to go. Please keep him lifted up!

The update is appreciated, Smokey. Continued thoughts and prayers for Michael. He's been through entirely too much the past few years and I admire his ability to keep fighting. We miss him on the boards.

Michael was moved to a hospital in Augusta, Georgia two nights ago for scheduled surgery on an abcess on one of his hips. I have no further info at this point,but will try to find out more this weekend.

Michael has a serious infection in one hip. The docs are treating it, but he will need a couple of pretty tough surgeries to extract the infection and eventually repair the hip. Michael is understandably upset by this development. I urge all who will to continue to hold him up in prayer.
