I recall seeing his name in results in the 70's,and there was a pic or two in an issue of Wrestling Revue (I think).I remember thinking he looked like Col.Klink from Hogan's Heroes.

Found some more info.Harvey Jones may have worked as Buck Jones in the Calgary-Edmonton area.He also worked in the old WWWF.
I also found info about an Edmonton play called either Sleeper or Piledriver. It says it was based on the true story of 70's wrestler Harvey Jones,a gay wrestler who came out in Edmonton. Also says (in the play info) that he also worked as Killer Karl Kramer.Don't know if this is truly related to the guy we are talking about.

B.A., two days ago, I was looking for some info on Harvey Jones and found the same info that you found today.
I found several articles on Harvey Jones and all basically had the same info.
According to one of the articles, Jones passed away in 1992.
The articles seem to have some accurate info on the wrestling career of Harvey Jones.
Much of the info on Jones came from his caregiver.
I do recall that picture of Jones in Wrestling Revue.
Thanks B.A.!

What I learned about Harvey Jones was not at all what I was expecting.
Sadly, Jones died of Aids twenty years ago.
According to the articles, Jones left his belongings to his caregiver, who knew nothing about his pro wrestling career.
This is when the caregiver learned that Jones had been a pro wrestler years earlier.
As B.A. mentioned in a previous post, the idea was born for the play, Piledriver.

Harvey Jones who wrestled for us as Buck Jones married or had a long lasting relationship with former lady wrestler Terri LaChance(yes he was gay, but their relationship was one of convenience) and moved from Edmonton to Peace River in or around 1975. His last match at Stampede a less than classic mid-card bout in Medicine Hat against Victor Jovica which Jovica won and I refereed.
