Just finished watching this Timeline with Bret Hart. Probably the best Timeline yet. Lots of interesting stories. One of the first Timeline volumes that I wish had continued with the next several years!
Please bring back Bret for more!!!

How would you rank it to other popular Timelines from Kevin Nash, Sean Waltman, and Jim Cornette?

I haven't been able to watch it, the old PS3 isn't running the plugin it takes to watch KC videos for some reason, and my new laptop doesn't show the Play now! button for releases I've bought for whatever reason. Of course the tech support for WWN Live doesn't actually exist, apparently.

I think it was a good release, not as good as Nash's, that is the standard. I don't think I've ever seen Bret Hart laugh until I saw this timeline. Good on Sean to keep Bret Hart on track - that this isn't all about Hart.

It isn't your laptop, can't be. Are you using some kind of ad blocking service? Do you have the necessary plugins installed?

It appears to have been a few garbage apps that accidentaly were downloaded into my browser. They were hiding, Norton Security didn't even pick up on them with a scan. I had to click on the "I think there is still a risk" or whatever, scanned and then uninstalled what I could. Checked the site after, and they popped up. No idea what's up with the PS3, but those that have one know they are absolute ******* when it comes to web browsing.

Another option is hooking your laptop to a tv and changing your audio settings to output the sound through the tv.
Norton is a waste of money, Microsoft has their own antivirus program (Windows Defender) that is a free download. A lot of programs are pre-loaded on PC's, you can uninstall most of them, they aren't really needed.

Really good stuff, easily the best KC release this year so far and my favorite interview with Bret. Sean did a fine job keeping Bret in the timeline and not marking for himself, which I was worried might happen.
Not on the level of Cornette 97 or Nash 95 for me, but Bret's not the showman that those guys are, nor does he have the same knowledge of the background scene. Still highly recommended, though.

I really enjoyed this one. I would put it second behind Cornette. Better than Nash for me. Some good insight/perspective and stories.
Great job again Sean !

It's what i expected from Bret: Cringeworthy. This guys ego is larger than Russia. This time he rates himself a 6 out of 10 on promos (in his book it was 4 out of 10 and closer to the truth). Him rating himself a 10 out of 10 in wrestling skills is laughable. He can't hold a candle to guys like Mitsuharu Misawa, Keiiji Mutoh, Bryan Danielson, Chris Benoit or even Ricky Steamboat. He rates Hogan a 1 out 10 on wrestling skill, what are most of the ECW guys then? Sandman? New Jack? Are they -10/10? He complains about Flair working one style only, never adapting, never changing. Again, laughable. Especially coming from the guy who always used the same 5 moves and who never was able to adapt to a different working style (watch his match with Misawa from 1991, Hart doesn't even know where he is or how to take most of the moves) and the Flair - Steamboat matches from 89 are better than any match Hart put together ever.
Then he compares himself to Beatlemania when it comes to his popularity in Europe. That's facepalm worthy. Why would anybody be so stupid and make such a laughable claim? In Germany, Bret Hart was basically for a single year the most popular wrestler. That was between 1992 and 1993. Before, Hogan, Savage, Warrior and Undertaker were the most popular and famous. After 1993 Bret fell fast behind the Undertaker (who remains the most known and most beloved Wrestler here next to Hogan), Shawn Michaels, Razor Ramon, Hulk Hogan and even Sting. Those were always the wrestlers who got invited to TV Shows back then (with Alex Wright of course after 1994 too). You never saw Bret Hart on any of those late night shows.
That story about a tour in Germany and his match with Bravo was put on first. That was the European Rampage Again Tour and it was in Munich. I was there. The simple reason why the match was first, was because the main event was a 15 Men Battle Royale with most of the wrestlers who competed before and before that they had the World Championship Match (Savage - HBK) and in between the usual fillers. It makes perfect sense that way, especially since Hart and Bravo competed in that Battle Royale too.
And of course every Tour was sold out. Wrestling was the absolute most popular thing back then here. Regardless of who was at the card, WWF and WCW sold out everything. Even the german federations like CWA were at their peak, drawing over 10.000 people to their shows. WWF could've put the Championship Belt on a Broom and people would've gone nuts over it. It has nothing to do with Bret Hart as an individual. Even Virgil drew like crazy here. Hulk Hogan drew more. Hogans WWF Tour 1993 was held in large arenas. The WCW Hulkamania Tour again, was held in large Arenas. WWF had once used Harts name for the "Hart Attack Tour 1994" and instead of going into 10.-15.000 arenas it played out in 5.000 seat arenas. That alone basically says all (WCW drew 11.000 people in Munich on their infamous BattleStars Tour in 1994 and that was with a ton of micarders and only Sting, Flair, Steamboat, Vader and Foley was well known wrestlers)
Him saying that they should film the shows to see how popular Bret is, again makes no sense. Didn't they film most UK events for their videos even from 1989 on? Some german shows were filmed. European Rampage Again 92 from Munich was shown on TV. So surely, Vince had the bright idea of filming the shows long before Bret apparently told him to film it to see his popularity.
Bret lies, lies and lies. It amazes me that people always go crazy over Hogan lying all the time but suck up and believe everything Hart pukes out.
Also isn't it kinda sad that he says the greatest day in his life was winning the title? Basically a prop in a scripted Show? And he puts that over his children?

Thanks very much for the comments. Consensus out there seems to be this is top 3 in the series. And certainly Bret's best appearance in this genre. That makes me proud. And I'm MOST proud that YOU were entertained to two hours plus. Thanks again for helping us tell the story of the WWE through the eyes of the people that lived it. We're at 40+ hours and not stopping anytime soon. Wrestlers are proud peacocks and remember when we see it through THEIR EYES, we get their truth. But I stand by this series being more comprehensive, entertaining, and closest to the truth than anything produced in Connecticut or by a "historian."
The series is in the hands of the talent. The WWE's story is their story. Let them tell it.
