The career record of Fred Prosser aka. Freddy Sweetan; Killer Cox (sometimes confused with Killer Karl Kox - the Sweetans spelt Cox with a C); The Masked Butcher #1*; Butcher Brower:

NOTE: I doubt if the 50's Prosser is the future Freddy Sweetan.*
*Monday, Sept 15, 1958  The Colchester Forum; Truro, NS   Frankis Caruso vs. Freddie Prosser
*Friday, Sept 19, 1958  The Stadium; New Glasgow, NS      Frankis Caruso vs. Freddie Prosser

*Tuesday, June 09, 1959 Jack Rumsey: The Stadium, Moncton, NB        Paul Richard vs. Freddy Prosser
*Tuesday, June 16, 1959 Jack Rumsey: The Stadium, Moncton, NB     Dutchie Spinner vs. Freddy Prosser 20 min

1968
NOTE: I believe Spider Galanto, Spider Pellerin & Black Spider were all Paul Pellerin(Peller) and since a version of Spider worked six-man tags with the Butchers, he must not have been one of the Maritime version, thus Sweetan may not have been Butcher #1 but Butcher #2, at least in the Maritimes, thus I have included all results for both 1 & 2.

Awesome stuff! Love to se the ring records and match results from an under appreciated NS territory.

At the time of his death according to the results Sweetan had challenged Pomeroy for the North American belt.

Given the circumstances of the time is it likely that Sweetan would have been given a run with the belt and what could the future have held in wrestling for someone who was only 36 when he died?

did you read the first line "The career record of Fred Prosser aka. Freddy Sweetan; Killer Cox (sometimes confused with Killer Karl Kox - the Sweetans spelt Cox with a C); The Masked Butcher #1*; Butcher Brower"
No he was not related to Bob, Stu Hart put them together as faux brothers or cousins, Sweetan is not the real last name of either.
