Thanks Jim, here are the results, quoting the Halifax Mail-Star:
CONTENDERS DISQUALIFIED
The Rafters at the Halifax Forum were jumping last night as 4,300 turned out to see the most Exciting wrestling card presented in these parts in several years.
The main match, for the North American Championship between the reigning Champion, Karl "Killer" Krupp and challenger The Beast was a thriller but it couldn't match the International tag team Championship between champions Freddie Sweetan and Mike "The Judge" Dubois against the formidable team of Bobby Kay and Leo Burk.
In the feature match, both the Beast and Krupp were disqualified by Louie Braun, making to first appearance as a referee at the Forum, Braun was roughly handled by both The Beast and Krupp and he handed out disqualification to both, The opening fall was taken by The Beast at 2:45. Krupp evened the match at 19:15 and appeared to be on the way to gaining the third fan several times but The Beast rallied and escaped the claw hold several times, Then at the 4:40 mark, Braun called a halt to the brawl and disqualified both men.
Leo Burk and Bobby Kay made up a fine tag team duo against Sweetan and Dubois in an action packed match that didn't have a dull moment. Leo Burk look the first fall after some torrid work at 23:54 when be caught Dubois in an abdominal stretch and Dubois had to submit. The second fall came at 9:47 with Dubois pinning Burk.
Both teams tried hard for the winning fall in the few minutes left and just as the bell sounded, Burk and Kay caught their opponents in abdominal stretches but it was too late and the match was called.
In the opening match a the card, Rudy Kay took a win over Butch Morgan at 11:52.  In the second match Bob Goulet took a surprise win over Eric The Red.
Goulet was on the receiving end of the match for the greater part of the 11 minutes but just as it appeared that The Red was going to wrap up the match Goulet caught Eric coming off the ropes and applied a cradle hold for the win.
It was announced from ringside that Jack Steel would be appearing on the card next Tuesday.

Bob Goulet?  Must be Rene Goulet.  His real name is Bob Bedard (sp?)

I have a result which I believe to have originated with Vance Nevada, which lists him as Rene Goulet, but two nights later in Fredericton (appears to be same source) he is Robert Goulet!
Hey, that's forty years tonight:
June 22, 1972  Fredericton, NB
Rudy Kay b. Butch Morgan ... Robert Goulet b. Eric the Red by DQ ... Leo Burke & Bobby Kay b. Mike Dubois & Fred Sweetan ... Karl Krupp b. The Beast by DQ

There was also a Rene Goulet in the area in 64.

I almost certainly looked at that exact ad when it appeared in the Halifax Mail Star in 1972. Great memories, thanks for posting.

It's not Rene Goulet. In the last few days of the month he was wrestling in Japan for IWE while there were Bob/Robert Goulet matches in this territory
