All business in wrestling is discussed in the showers. You kayfabed when talking business.
I've always felt it was premeditated that he was going to stab Brody, or at least he knew his coming discussion could lead to a physical altercation.
However I don't think Colon or Victor knew Jose was going to stab him. If they conspired to kill him there were dozens of other chances to do so. Heck earlier in the week Jose and Brody rode to a few towns together.

What Jose did was f'd up. But what Benoit did was worse. He killed a little boy who was his son and his wife.
Besides Colon did not kill Brody, Jose did. Not saying Colon knew or didn't know what was going to happen, but even if he did, it's still not as bad as what Benoit did

Actually it was one word..."aquittal".
Which used under the confines of a court can mean not guilty, or the case can not proceed due to lack of evidence. In Jose's case it was due to lack of evidence, no murder weapon (which some eye witnesses believe Victor Jovica & Colon got rid of) and no one in that lockeroom showed up to testify.

OK, we will play word games. If you would rather use "Acquittal" instead of "Not Guilty", that is fine and dandy. However, he was not found "Guilty" nor was he "Convicted" If someone believes Colon does not belong in the HOF because of wrestling issues, that is one thing. But to say he does not belong because of his association with a person that was "Acquitted" is a huge stretch. In other words, the court verdict is only valid, if we agree with it. otherwise, it is meaningless?

I'm all for Colon going in the HOF. In fact I'm probably one of his staunchest supporters for going into the Wrestling Observer HOF. But he has not gathered enough support, but I feel that has as much to do with the lack of information out there regarding his career and his power as a draw. It also has a lot to do with his alleged involvement during the Brody case.
He was a major draw iin the 1980's for sure, easily a top five guy in the United States.
On the flip side you had Colon, who was the majority owner in a promotion that babyfaced a guy on tv when he was on trial for muder. Which was pretty darn classless.

Wow..Scott Hall killed somebody and he is in the HOF. Since we disregard the court's verdict if it dos not suit our agenda, then you can say Hall should not have been inducted as well
