Verne Gagne in 1983 (Dino Bravo vs Abdullah The Butcher, Montreal Forum)
Edouard Carpentier in 1984 (Dino Bravo vs Rick Martel, Quebec Coliseum)
Any special guest referees for Thunder Bay and Sudbury cards over the years?

How about Lou Thesz reffing the Dino Bravo/Masked Superstar main event at the 7/25/83 Montreal Forum card? I believe there's handheld footage of this match available and it is a great bout, as most Bravo/Superstar matches tended to be. IIRC, Thesz even decked Lord Alfred Hayes, who tried to interfere on Superstar's behalf.

Luckystarr, was Vern gagné reffed Bravo Vs King Tonga in 1985 and not Abdullah in 83  But i would not bet a lot of money on my memory. Yvon Robert Jr was the ref between Bravo and Abdullah in jully 1982
-Don Leo Jonathan was there for the revenge of Andre the giant vs Killer Khan in august 1981
-Andre was the ref between Bravo and John Studd in November 81, preparing the main event for the big Christmas show (andre-Studd)
-Pat O'connor was here. Maybe Bravo-Billy Robinson in 1983??

Oops, my bad! I knew there was a special referee in the match between Bravo and Abby, the Canadian heavyweight title was declared vacant not long after IIRC.
Pat O'Connor was for the Bravo-Martel revenge match at the Forum, not 100% sure but i remember him as guest referee during that time.

Robert Jr was listed for the Martel/Bravo bout in Montreal Mar 5 1984 not sure if thats the same one you mentioned above

Mixing my memories with my old notes help clearing the situation of the Bravo-Martel saga...First match was at le Colisé, Québec on september 21, 1983 with Edouard Carpentier as the third man in the ring. Bravo won in contreversy when Carpentier did not see martel's feet in the rope and make the 3 count....The revenge was still at Le Colisé on march 5th 1984 with Yvon Robert jr as the ref (don't have any detail for the match, except that Martel won)....And finaly, the Montréal match was 1 week later, march 12 with Pat O'connor as the ref...I was there at the Forum and i remember being very disappointed with the match and the double count out result...
