Hey Hey guys caught this in a search , to answer a few questions on the video, I am Big Jim Hutchinson , (no relation to Ron) and I did 2 tours of newfie with the Cannon crew. Was pretty confusing having Sailor as a face. I trained under The Love Brothers and Eric the Animal. Got my firstt TV shot on CHCH Tunney tv Against the Love bros and Nick de Carlo as a partner. Tunny asked where I was from.... I said Toronto....he said "i can't have a lumberjack from TO...that's how I got Timmins as a home town..... If anyone has pics of that tour, please let me know 1975?

Hey, Jim, welcome to Kayfabe Memories! Be sure to stop by the Maple Leaf Wrestling board & say hi, there are some knowledgeable old school fans around there who probably enjoyed seeing some of your work back in the 70s! Some of them are photo & newspaper clipping collectors, so they might be able to help you out in finding archives of your work. Plus Tim Gerrard, a former Tunney guy, posts pretty often, maybe you know him?

big bam.....I toured newfie using the lumberjack gig ...went down there 3 weeks early with Shotz and Mike Vachon (mad dogs son) travel together with White, Hess and Sky low low .... worked against Vachon for a week then they separated us.... (eric the red told me if anyone gives ya a big potato , give it right back.....vachon and I looked like mashed potatoes after a week , then worke dwith Silent Mackey. next time down I had Chief Billy Two Rivers , tony marino

Jim, were these 2 different promotions? Did you work with Von Shotz and Marino when they ran in the winter of 1976?
