Former All Star heel manager Mauro Ranallo and former Pride & New Japan Pro Wrestling commentator accepted a position with WWE.
Nice to see a Northwest guy land another great spot.

Yup Smackdown commentator starting in January.
The show will be moving to USA with supposedly major changes taking place.

I hear many good things about Ranallo. I will have to look his work up online because people I know who watch wrestling and MMA say he is one of the best commentators out there today.

I have been watching WWE a lot more right now and have checked out a few episodes of Smackdown, Ranallo is decent enough as a commentator, but I don't find him especially interesting or memorable at all.

He really shines with New Japan Pro Wrestling or when he calls MMA. His work on Pride FC was great.
