So I have heard about this infamous angle for years and finally saw footage of it. It's the one where Embry is attacked by Skandor Akbar and his thugs in the cage and beaten with a baseball bat.
As the story has always been relayed to me, Embry either induced vomiting in the ring to make it appear that he had suffered a concussion, or he induced vomiting in order to look like he was spitting up blood.
Now, in the video you do hear Mark Lowrance say something about Embry spitting up blood, but there is no evidence of any major blood on the canvas or anything looking like vomit on the mat.
So has this angle been played up for years in re-telling after re-telling to the point that it got worse and worse with each passing recap, or did I miss something?

Eric Embry NCO Skandor Akbar, cage match, special referee Frank Dusek Matt Borne won six-man elimination match
Beauty & The Beast beat Steve & Shaun Simpson
And yes, he actually did. BTW, if memory serves, the first broadcast of Eric upchucking (on Championship Sports the following night) was totally uncensored. Undoubtedly there were some complaints, because in all subsequent airings, the puke was pixelated.
yes.what was up with uswa then? at any sign of blood they blocked it out while wccw or uswa memphis did not.they would pull away from violent matches and stuff.that was a turn off to me.i wanted to see what the fans did.
