This is not the typical WATN thread, regarding pro wrestlers.
I doubt if anyone on this forum has ever asked about any of the following pro wrestlers, as most of you have probably never heard of these men.
Donny Green
Pat Poland
Henry "Fireball" Robinson
Danny Lynch
Bob Beasley
Tommy O'Brien
Ivan Kameroff
Col. Roger Peabody
Ron Lee
Tim Towers
Vic Nichols
Sid Jones
Sadly, all of the gentlemen listed above are deceased.
Unfortunately, these guys have not been listed on many of the listings of deceased pro wrestlers.
I just thought that these veteran pro wrestlers should get mentioned and be remembered on this pro wrestling message board.
Gentlemen, thank you for all the enjoyment you brought to the fans of pro wrestling.

I remember the name Colonel Roger Peabody from Bob Sabre.
Think i may have briefly met Peabody at an early 1980's Amphitheatre house show in Chicago, kind of a blur.

During my time @ Windy City Wrestling we had a heel manager named
" Mr. Peabody " ( Steve Misup )
Mr. Peabody' gimmick was that of a human counterpart of the animated " Mr. Peabody and his sidekick " Sherman " which used to be part of the Rocky and Bullwinkle show.
Played kind of a geeky Radio Shack Nerd. Got decent heel heat.

All of the pro wrestlers listed in my original post, worked in either the late 1960's, 1970's or 1980's.
Pro wrestler Rick Zee should have also been included with the other names.
Here are the ages of some of the deceased.

Sonny, Col. Roger Peabody(65) died in May 2010.
Col. Roger Peabody mostly wrestled in Wisconsin and Illinois.

Not sure if u remember Freddy Rogers, Jimmy Foxx, Buddy Pearl, DD Clendenan, Dan Redman, Bobby Post amongst some of the boys from that era.
Not sure if he is still with or retired from Metra where he worked as a conductor, Freddy Rogers

I presume that Danny Lynch is "Dangerous" Danny Lynch from the UK who worked in Australia in the late 70s for WCW during it's last year or two.

Some of these names lead me to believe that many, if not all of these wrestlers worked in the U.K., not here in North America. Am I right?

Yes Greg, it's the Danny Lynch from the U.K..
Glaz, I have been a fan of pro wrestling for 44 years and I only follow pro wrestling in the U.S. and Canada.
Regarding the U.S., my wrestling interest is only in the contiguous 48 states.
Never followed any wrestling that may have taken place in Alaska or Hawaii.
Glaz, if you believe that these pro wrestlers did not worked in the U.S. or Canada, then you are dead wrong!
If they only worked in the U.K., I would not be familiar with them because I do not follow wrestling in that country.
These pro wrestlers mostly worked in the U.S. or Canada, with the exception of Danny Lynch.
Lynch mostly worked in Europe, but did wrestle in Canada(I believe it was in the early 1970's).
Glaz, I already mentioned that Col. Roger Peabody worked in Wisconsin and Illinois.
Henry "Fireball" Robinson worked in Georgia.
Ron Lee worked TV matches for the W.W.F..
So Glaz, just wanted to inform you that these gentlemen did indeed wrestle in the U.S. and Canada.

Sonny, thanks for the info on Freddy Rogers!
I recall reading an article many, many years ago in a wrestling magazine about Freddy Rogers.
Also, I purchased photos of Jimmy and Buddy years ago.
Regarding, Dan Redman and Bobby Post, I'm familiar with their names, but I never saw them, not even in magazines or photos.
If anyone has any pictures of Redman or Post, please feel free to post them. (No pun intended)

I first saw Vic Nichols in 1969 as part of an outlaw promotion Mark Lewin was running in Dayton, Ohio, against Sheik Farhat.
In 1973, I worked against him in the KC territory with him working as Hillbilly Vic. In 1974, I worked against him in the Gulas territory where he was using the same name.
