There was a clip of a show at Ron Jaworski's golf course (ex Philadelphia Eagles quarterback) that aired on an episode of tv from 1993. Problem is some of those charity shows nobody has results for so Im not sure all that happened there.

Ok, so that summer of 94 show in Middletown was in late July rather than August. My bad, I had spent most of my day at the track in Saratoga, then drove down the the fairgrounds for the show and even though the track meet extends from mid-July through Labor Day, I still remember the old days when it was only on in August and truly "The August Place To Flee". 1 funny story from the show- when Marty Jannetty entered the ring, some guys at ringside were yelling "Where's Shawn?" Marty didn't appreciate too much of that, grabbed the mic and announced to the crowd "y'wanna know where Shawn is? He's down the road at the GAY BAR!!! Oh, and Paul E. Was definitely there hanging on the infield bandstand type of structure, I had turned and saw him when Cactus Jack came flying over the fan barrier and bounced off of me into the mud ...I'm roughly Mick's size and never saw him coming.

I imagine it was just so you could have him and Sandman face the Dudley's in a tag match.

I am just saying Balls was a horrible worker and didn't deserve a push.

The Taz/Spicolli match from the 1997 outdoor show in New Jersey aired on TV. When the episode aired on WWE Classics On Demand, Joey Styles told a story claiming Spicolli was fine with losing to Taz in under 30 seconds but requested that the match not air on TV. Heyman said it wouldn't, then aired the match anyways.
