Great photos Supermouth! Thanks very much! And that is a very cool classic Mercedes that Ramey and his boys are getting into! Very classy for the day!

Just makes me miss Ramey & the Interns. They first came into Tenn. (Jim Starr & Billy Garrett then, Tom Andrews took Garrett's spot in late '71) in Jan. of 1970.They did several tours of the Gulas area during the '70's, finsihing in Memphis for Jarrett in early '78--Jim Starr was finally unmasked in Memphis in a heels vs. heels battle with Phil Hickerson & Dennis Condrey (then managed by "Kangaroo" Al Costello).I enjoyed Ramey & the Interns probably the most in their late '71-almost all of '72 tour for Gulas. Wonderful heels.

Ramey and the Interns were one of my favorites. Miss the good ol' days.
You guys are seeing the parking garage at Louisville Gardens.

One of the greatest wrestling managers of all time, and sadly one that that is not mentioned enough these days. Dr. Ken Ramey.

Kent was with Lawler & White around the spring of '72. Some of these other "'73" photos were from '72. Saul Weingeroff managed the Von Brauners in Louisville--for Gulas--in '72--but, not '73.There's a good chance that all of these photos on this thread are from '72.

Could be Tojo. Trying to remember a particular year some 40 centuries ago, thought it was '73, but that's why we've got you here brother. Nice history recall!

Oh--glad to help out, bud. I love the photos that you took--but, yeah--from the subjects in them--sure looks like '72. The Interns & Ramey were there for Gulas almost all of '72--but, very little in '73, as they were in Cal. most of '73. Same for Weingeroff & the Von Brauners--they were around for Gulas about the first 8 mothns of '72--didn't work for Gulas in '73 at all. Jimmy Kent was with Lawler & White not that long in '72--mainly just the spring of '72. Looking forward to more great photos of Gulas's Louisville promotion--though, the real promoter there back then was Jerry Jarrett.

Thanks to the all knowing Tojo, I've corrected the year in the topic title. LOL
Now on with the show.
This is a team I would have loved to have seen in action, Tommy Gilbert & Dennis Hall. I just saw both of these two fine gentlemen a couple of weeks ago at the GCWR.

Tommy & Dennis were really smooth in the ring, believe you me.They didn't team alot--but, when they did they made a fine team. Both could mat wrestle well, plus they knew how to brawl when needed.
