Great find. The Poffos were pretty ahead of their time with some of these wild promos. Randy Savage actually seems more intense in his ICW days than later on in WWF and WCW. I am sure folks here have seen the great "no freak out, no confetti" promo and know what I am talking about!

I actually saw this promo when it first aired. While I was on vacation somewhere in the Midwest, during the summer of 1982, I turned on the TV set and watched this whole episode of ICW Wrestling, which included this particular promo. It was always exciting to go on these family vacations around the country, to see different wrestling promotions not normally seen in my home area.
It was the first time I ever saw Randy Savage, and I never forgot this promo, ever. I am so glad that it is now on the internet....I guess as assurance that I'm not the only one who saw this bizarre promo for this little outlaw group, late at night on a small market TV station!
After I saw Randy Savage this one time, cutting this one promo, I knew that he could be a very unique and entertaining wrestler anywhere, and man, he certainly went from being a big fish in a little pond to a big fish in a big ocean!
On this same ICW TV show, I also saw a few appearances by Ox Baker (including the Ox's interview segment included in this YouTube clip). Within this ICW show, I also Ox in a local TV commercial. It was good seeing Ox, since he was one of my first favorite wrestlers while growing up in Chicagoland (via WWA TV and "Bob Luce Wrestling").
And on this same ICW TV show I saw while on vacation (wow, it really does seem like I saw it just yesterday!), Thunderbolt Patterson was in the studio, doing a sit-down interview with the commentators, and Lanny Poffo wrestled in what had to be a record-setting victory....he actually beat his opponent in a TV squash match within 3 seconds (I believe after his jobber opponent tried to hit Lanny behind his back before the bell rang).
Thanks for sharing this video.....it obviously brought back plenty of good memories of wrestling's territory days!

As a young fan, I had never seen anything like that before, a record time for a pinfall, in three seconds. Again, I saw this particular ICW show on TV at the time, and it was kind of neat to watch.
However, after this happened in that little TV studio, on a show I watched while on vacation on some small market TV station late at night, I didn't see or hear about any publicity revolving around this "record" whatsoever (not even in the Norman Kietzer wrestling magazines, which was the only wrestling media that seemed to cover this group at all).

That interview looked like a bad '80s sci-fi movie.
