We have been trying to sort some stuff out on the Road Warriors trip into Texas on the AWA board.  Can anyone help on the details of the matches between these two teams.  How many matches did they have?  I watched some clips from a tv show & it looked like the Sheepherders were the SW tag champs but am not sure if the Road Warriors were AWA champs or not at the time.  I know they wrestled on at least two occasions, one of which the Warriors lost due to interference by Jonathon Boyd.  Can anyone shed more light on the Warriors trip into SW Championship Wrestling?  If this has been covered on an earlier thread - please let me know & I will search for it.  If not, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I recall in Oct 84 I attended a match at the Hemisfair Arena between the Road Warriors and The Sheepherders I believe it was after they had last the AWA tag team belts and it was an intense war. This match ended in a double-Dq and I recall there was a write up of this match in the Mar 85 issue of The Wrestler. The SCW Tag-Titles were on the line in this match and Joe Blanchard said that he was bringing them in to take care of the Sheepherders. There was also no mention of the Road Warriors even call the former AWA Tag Team Champions.
I do think that they did have another mtch in the area but do not recall when and where it took place.

The Road Warriors faced the Sheepherders in Waco, Tx I believe that same weekend.
The  Road Warriors were being hard to work with, so at the right time, Luke kicked Hawk, I believe, in the stomach, which caused him to roll to the side of the ring and puke.
