Sonny, which page of the ISAC book did Vince and his cronies refer to when trying to get Kerry Von Erich's wrestling license revoked for Superclash 3? Something about a statute from around 1930 that says a wrestler cannot enter into competition without a limb. Although I guess a prosthetic foot would be considered a limb. Many people swear that the WWF contacted the Illinois Board to sabotage this AWA PPV main event in Dec.1988. Even Meltz has talked about this being the case many times over the years. Was there actually a hearing on this? What do you know about this situation?

Unfortunately i perused thru the booklet of IL. Wrestling Commission Rules and if that rule or policy was in there i did not see it or missed it.
I heard that Vince contacted The Wrestling & Boxing Commission but it was never confirmed from any of the then working Commission Members.

I have never been to Angola or Buck Lake Ranch to see matches. I would have loved to see a few cards there but back in the pre-internet days it was hard to get a schedule of cards.
I have been to Elkhart a few times and that's maybe 60 miles from Angola. The only reason I found out about those Elkhart cards is because Sam Menacker's interviews would get mixed up sometimes and we'd get one of these promos on our TV show.
Tim T and Chris Parsons are the experts on Angola and Buck Lake. Hopefully they will chime in here.

There was a gentleman named Bob Fancil who attended a Chicago Championship Wrestling event in South Bend, In. @ The Century Center. He gave a few of us business cards wanting to book CCW at Buck Lake if memory serves.
Bob Fancil's Professional Wrestling & Circus. This was in 1984. Not sure if he was ever able to get any company to run there. Possibly Brian Costello and Ton Lynch were able to run it maybe once.
