5. Art fights back with a series of punches that back Tom into the corner, but Tom stops his offensive surge by raking his eyes. He tries to whip Art across. but Art reverses and catches Tom coming out with a backdrop. He follows with a pair of right hands, then comes off the ropes with one more big right that knocks Tom down.
He sends Tom for the ride and catches him with a high backdrop, then follows up with the reverse neckbreaker that the Honky Tonk Man would later call the Shake Rattle and Roll to get the three-count,
I noticed that Art hooked Tom's arm over his own head as if he was going for a suplex, which meant that when he went for the 'roll" (final twist) he ended up hitting the back of his head off of the mat pretty hard.
7. Buddy called what was happening in front of him professionally, but there was no attempt on his part to talk about the wrestlers or what else was happening in the promotion. I thought Boyd might step in to provide some color with Bill gone, but he was silent as usual.
Next: To be determined.
Thoughts?
