If you had the dirt sheets at that time Meltzer called it the "Meaningless Title" or the "Ft. Worth Title". Also Inside Wrestling always listed the champions of the territories but never listed the World Class TV Title. It's basically the equivalent of the WWE 24/7 title or one of the 900 titles in AEW.

It was a "beat the champ" style TV title, with a kayfabed jackpot and everything.

I had to go back and check this out. I went through all my IW magazines, and they did list the TV title. You can also see it here...
