Did Barry Windham ever make any appearances in St. Louis for Sam Muchnick?

Not for Muchnick but he did appear on at least one episode of Wrestling At The Chase in 1983. This was after Sam retired and Larry was gone too.

I'll never forget when I tuned in one Sunday morning and no Larry Matysik.  I pretty much lost interest at this point.

He probably did, by the time Larry was gone I had lost interest in WATC.

Do you remember how long WATC ran on KPLR after Larry left?  It seemed like it wasn't to long after Larry departure that WWF took over.

I think they ran the rest of 1983. I think Vince's 1st taping was Dec. 27.

I had noticed in the 8/26/1983 match between Baron and Barry that there was a huge pay difference between the two. Windham got about $750.00 and Baron received around $300.00. Thought that was strange. Even Mulligan and Lanza aren't even close and they were tag team partners on this card. Must have been something else included regarding the payoffs for the Windhams.

That would make sense.  That is some pretty good money for 1984.  Blackjack probably only wrestled 25 minutes at the most.  Windham pretty much 20-25 minutes at the most probably (with the exception being the match against Flair).

DAMN Windham and DVE as partners!!!    Always thought those two were very similar.  Yet DIFFERENT enough at the same time.   6'6 guys, somewhat slender, who could do ANYTHING in the ring!  They seemed like two small forwards from the NCAA who chose to purse wrestling.  By that I mean by their appearance and the way they moved!  In a perfect world, DVE lives.   WCCW and JCP can have a strong bond at some point.  And we get The Von Erichs and Dusty vs. The Horsemen (with Barry as a member) in War Games!
