Recently watched a dvd with various WWC matches and was wondering if anyone knew what year the following took place:
Carlos Colon vs. Ric Flair ( Only Colon's WWC title is on the line even though Flair was NWA champ at the time. Colon wins the match. In a interview days before the match Flair mentions beating Colon a few nights earlier while defending his NWA title.)
Roddy Piper vs. Invader # 1 ( I'm guessing 1984 before Piper went to WWF )

Carlos and Ric battled so many times during 1983-1985. They beat each other many times, but being in PR Carlos took the best part of it.
Piper vs. Invader took place on 1984.

Pretty sure Piper made his WWF debut at the very beginning of the year of 1984, I think the Invaders were there at that time as well....Piper's tour of Puerto Rico was in 1982 (MAYBE 1983) if I am not mistaken...I have a lot of episodes from that time frame including Roddy Piper's interviews. Those shows featured Enrique Vera, King Tonga, Buddy Landell and a few others that worked the area during the time frame I specified above.
I also have interviews with Flair from this time line featuring him with the NWA Title, talking about his upcoming match with Carlos for the WWC Title....I think this was October of 1982....
I want to say Piper was in there on that specific tour but as I mentioned above the Piper stuff could be from 1983...though I am leaning towards 82 due to the roster that surrounded him. If it was 83, I'd say it was January
