How about "unintentionally" funny?
My vote is for Bronco Lubich on the mic as ref in WCCW. When Bill Mercer, another candidate based on gems like "Norwegia," would have Bronco explain a controversial finish, the doubletalk was impressively comical.

I think Rip Rogers is a very underrated choice.
As to unintentionally funny, though out of time frame, Fred Ottman's Shockmaster stumble on a TBS Clash of the Champions has to be the alltime greatest moment. And he didn't have to say anything. I believe Ole did the Shockmaster voice-over following the fall and it was ill-suited to the snafu we saw. How Sid ever kept a straight face is amazing.

AMAZING! I was just going to post Bruiser Costa and am glad I read all the other posts first. He was ALWAYS my favorite on the mic for comedic value. A true classic.

Piper always made me and my dad crack up. Just him laying back in his chair in Pipers Pit not even saying a word used to crack us up.

Roddy Piper always cracked me up as did some of Terry Funk's promos
Also Jimmy Valiant was always funny on the mic in the 80's
Gene Okerlund was a hoot also...

| Bill Savage went over to the (Stu Hart) house and one of the Hart kids was running around with his hair wet. Savage asked why his hair was wet. Stu said, "the little bast--d broke a vase this morning, so I stuck his head in the toilet. Want me to show you again?"

That's the first time I ever heard Bruiser Costa, does anyone else here notice that he sounds very similar to Bobcat Goldwait when he speaks? Remember him, the comedian from the Police Academy movies?
