Has anyone ever been to the TMW shows by Terry Landell in Knoxville TN? I regularly attended shows from 2008-2014, Had alot of mixed memories of it, They had some a somewhat good group of wrestlers, JT Coalminer, The American Patriot (Not Del Wilkes), Stan Sierra, Jimmy Golden, Deke Rivers, Tom Pitner & a younger wrestler named Pee-Wee who got pretty good heel heat, Even recently "Super Mario" from the old USWA had a few matches. but had a few bad experiences, Back in 2009 ish when a Heel Women's wrestler scared my younger brother & my mother almost got into a fist fight with her Anyways they did alot of free shows & they haven't been doing shows in the past year. Please share your thoughts if you've ever been to TMW.

Speaking strictly as a fan, I attended two Terry Landell shows as they were both Brad Armstrong Memorial shows. They were good simply because of the old school wrestlers that I was able to meet and see. Also, hopefully the money (or at least some of it) was going to a college fund for Brad's daughter.
My personal experience with Terry Landell is that he is a buffoon and a liar to put it mildly. He only runs sporadic free shows for the most part, but thinks that he owns the Knoxville territory. I'm sure Tojo Mojo could elaborate on this.
Here's a link to the Facebook page. The name alone is laughable IMO.

I'll make it simple--Terry Landel is a jerk, & his promotion isn't much of nothing. Most of his workers that I saw on Knoxville cards were pretty bad indy workers. That's all I care to say of Terry & his group.

I asked Jimmy Golden his thoughts of Terry Landel , & I can't print the curse words that Jimmy used. Jimmy only ever wrestled for Landel, as it was Jimmy's way to pick up a few bucks.

Tojo,I think you'll agree that when Bill Needham ran the Knoxville All Star Wrestling Promotion which I think turned into the Terry Landel promotion was a pretty decent promotion.Terry has his cable access show in Knoxville.Super Mario is a great guy.Terry claims he is related to Buddy

I went to several of Bill's shows when I was in grad school at UT. He seemed like a really nice guy. I'll never forget Izzy reuniting the Devil's Duo to insure Landel's guys never again left him "lying in a pool of mine own blood."

Bill dropped his wallet at a wrestling show and my brother and I found it.We ran after Bill and returned it to him.We instantly made friends after that.He was "in" so he always went and got my brother and I and took us behind the scenes. We ofc kept our mouths shut and during the USWA/SMW feud played it up that we were from Memphis lol
