Having seen all of the Anderson Brothers start their respective careers in the AWA, I am curious, as to which of the Andersons posters felt was the best, and which combination of "brothers" were the best team.

I remember Gene Anderson in the mid 60's in the AWA, then saw Larry Heiniemi (Lars Anderson) come along, to be followed by Al "Rock" Rogowski (Ole Anderson).  For the sake of this post, I am also going to include Marty Lunde (Arn Anderson), as he worked with Ole in various "alledged" relationship scenarios.  Among them being, uncle, nephew and brother.

For me personally, I liked Gene & Lars the best as the Anderson Brothers team, and preferred Ole & Arn together too.

How about others opinions?

GIVE ME MORE OF THE PAST, SO THAT I CAN ENJOY THE PRESENT!!!

I was born ten years too late, unfortunately, to have seen Gene and Lars together in their prime.  I did, however, see quite a bit of Ole and Gene together, and they rank as one of my three favorite teams.  I enjoyed Arn's work, too, but he and Ole together didn't do it for me as much as Ole and Gene.

I saw Lars here for a few brief runs in the late 70's, but never really got into him for some reason.  It would have been interesting to see them doing the six man matches together, but it never really came about that way.

Lars was one of the only faces that me, and the majority of my friends cheered during the 70's, early 80's. He just seemed to be a guy who wouldn't take anything from anyone and wouldn't back down no matter what. This was in direct contrast to guys like Rich, Dusty etc. who always seemed to be whining about the heels latest actions.

As for the Anderson Bros. tag-team, I was lucky enough to see the Gene/Ole combo against the likes of Flair/Valentine and PJ/Wahoo in JCP so they have to be my favorite team.

i have just a few glimpses of gene and lars from my extreme youth. not enough to really grasp. all i really remember of lars is from his time in the IWA.
but gene and ole were a big part of my childhood. they are to me the rulebook of tag team wrestling. they had it all.
ole and arn were a great team too. but nothing comes close to the brutatlity ole gave to the team.
incredible.

i am your champion.

I LOVED GENE AND OLE IN THE MID ATLANTIC IN THE 70'S. THEY WERE SUCH BAD ASSES AND HAD SUCH MEMORABLE MATCHES WITH VALENTINE/FLAIR AND JONES/WAHOO AMONG OTHERS. ONE OF THE BEST TEAMS EVER IN MY OPINION...
