JCP @ Greenville, SC - Memorial Auditorium - October 13, 1986
Eddie Roberts defeated Randy Mulkey
Manny Fernandez defeated Hector Guerrero
Allen West defeated Tony Zane
Shaska Whatley defeated Bill Mulkey
Dick Murdoch defeated Rick Rude
Bobby Jaggers & Dutch Mantell defeated Bobby Eaton & Dennis Condrey in a bunkhouse match
Magnum TA defeated Jimmy Garvin in a lumberjack match (Magnum's last match)

10/14/86: Magnum TA was hospitalized after the car he was driving crashed into a telephone poll. Magnum sustained a broken neck, was paralyzed from the chest down, and was initially put on life support. He was returning to his home in Matthews, NC from a bar in Charlotte but had not been drinking and was driving 55 mph on a 45 mph zone. The roads were wet due to rain.

He would of been up there with Sting, Lex Luger, The Steiners and Brian Pillman as WCW's top babyfaces in the early 1990's. I think he probably would of received the Ronnie Garvin 1987 short title reign and possibly more title reigns down the line if he was not in the car wreck.

At least he survived and has had a nice, productive life.

Sad time for JCP fans. Magnum was my favorite at the time of his accident.
