What were paydays like in WWC? Just started watching the older stuff on YouTube. Sounds like a lot of guys got stiffed.

Good question. I enjoy the WWC stuff. The roster was kept pretty small, but I know there were issues with taxes.

Pay didn't become an issue until later and business took a hit. During it's peak, many really enjoyed going their as the travel was easy, and the pay was good.

I know in its early years until the mid 2000s the wrestlers basically worked every day on a four to five day schedule and able to sleep in their own beds nearly every night.
