I was watching MSG cards from 1983 and 1984 this morning and noticed that Pat Patterson very often will start saying Vince's name and then correct himself and say Gorilla's name. I guess he was working with Vince on Championship Wrestling and All Star Wrestling since late 1980 and just grew accustomed to using Vince's name.

Televised via closed circuit Gorilla Monsoon & Pat Patterson on commentary
On November 22, 1982 Gorilla joins Vince on commentary as Vince had been doing commentary solo for years up until then.
Gorilla would do commentary by himself on March 20, 1983, May 23, 1983 and July 30, 1983.
Starting on the October 17, 1983 MSG card Gorilla and Pat partnered together on commentary. Gene Okerlund would take over Pat's spot on May 21, 1984.
Wonder if Vince got pissed that Pat kept on slipping up in late 1983 and early 1984 at MSG.
