Get your tickets for Corny's roast. The way he's been lately, there may be a strangulation.

Sean, what was it like meeting Brian Blair ?  For years, the Sheik has made him out to be like Antichrist.

Brian was fine.  He was a little upset after the Roast, but he calmed down.

Have you ever met either Hulk Hogan and/or Ric Flair(it would be great if you can do a release with them)?

I'm paying a visit to your board following your visit to ours:-) this is a great thread, kudos to the creater. noticed you haven't been quizzed for a few days, so:

Do you watch much MMA? Who do you think would make the best transition into wrestling?

Do you go drinking with the wrestlers after the shoots- if so, who's the best laugh off camera?

Has a famous actor ever recognised you from a KC production? Who are the closet wrestling fans?

If you lost your hands in a freak accident and the only option you had were to replace them with either a knife and fork or cats paws, which would you choose, and why?

thanks (you don't have to answer the last one!)

When Sean reads this thread he will likely answer your questions because they came after mine and he tends to always reply just to the latest post.  Hopefully that's not the case this time.

You would be able to answer whether he met Hogan and Flair or not? I wonder if he ever even tried to contact them to do a dvd release?

hmmm- hogan doesn't do shoots (he has an aversion to the truth/reality which would restrict his answers). + ric flair apparently got 50k for his highspots shoot. i think kc would wiser than to pay that up front for a guy, especially with the problems that ensued in that scenario.

we've waxed on for so much now i doubt either of us will get an answer! if you are on a last post only policy sean, answer this one:

Never met Hogan, I was in Flair's company, but didn't engage.  Of course I'd do an interview with either, but bear in mind Hogan is always working.  I don't know how much of what he'd say that you could take to the bank.

And yes, based on Flair's track record with other shoot companies, there would have to be quite a different deal made than what the other guys did.

"Do you watch much MMA? Who do you think would make the best transition into wrestling?"

I don't.  The other guys in the company do.  They go out and watch the pay-per-views together.  I go home and answer message boards.

"Do you go drinking with the wrestlers after the shoots- if so, who's the best laugh off camera?"

Sometimes we do lunch/dinner before.  I don't like the team jerking around afterwards and they don't really want to anyway.  We're a pretty professinal bunch. I like going in, getting a good hour or two setup, getting together with talent and reps for a bite, doing the show, sending the talent on their way, doing an orderly breakdown, and getting on the road in and hour or so.

Although when we're spending some extended time at conventions or after the live shows like Ring Roasts and YS Live, there's often an active bar scene in the hotel lounge.  45 wrestlers in the same location for two days, what do you think is gonna happen at 11 pm, after the roast?  Sometimes the KC guys hang out, I usually poke my head in, say a few hellos, talk a little business, and take off.  I usually have to be back at the loaction for another shoot at 9am.

As for the best time off camera, I like being at a big table with the KC crew, James from Legends of the Ring and his crew, Kevin Sullivan, some food and a cocktail or two.  Usually I'm taking the abuse.  All in good fun.

Though it was cool being at the bar with Dixie after youShoot LIVE and having her not let me leave until she bought me a Stella.  I still owe you Dix.

"Has a famous actor ever recognised you from a KC production? Who are the closet wrestling fans?"

NO.  The two worlds really don't mesh.  I am pretty evasive about KC when I'm working on a film or TV show.  Not that I'm embarassed, it's just that so many people don't  'get it.' And I just don't want to deal with it.  Although my guys are cinephiles and try to talk to me about that industry, but it's more annoying to me than wrestling. So I try to avoid that conversation also.  I'm a real party to work with.

"If you lost your hands in a freak accident and the only option you had were to replace them with either a knife and fork or cats paws, which would you choose, and why?"

I think you'd have a much easier time in life with the paws.  Just consider what your time in the bathroom would be like with the other option.

Heres a question for Shawn and if you don't want to answer I understand.

Is Eric Simms really annoying to work with, or is it more of Erics gimmick?
