I think posters should have the ability to either edit or even delete a post after it has been put up. This would be for any post they created and wish to take action on it.

I'll second that. Used to be able to, believe that was the 'Shire rule' after he went and deleted all his posts so there were big blanks in the threads

We already have 30 minutes to edit a post once it's posted.. I think looking thru threads would be ridiculous if there are blank spaces where people deleted their original comment / replies.. We would see a reply to someone's previous comment that maybe wasn't quoted since it was the very next comment underneath but reading it would no longer make sense if what they replied to was no longer seen... What would a thread look like if the OP deleted his original post to start the thread? A bunch of people commenting on something that we have no idea what they are commenting on?...
OP question: Who do you think is the greatest NWA champion of all time?
Comment : Ric Flair
Comment: Jack Brisco
OP question: Comment: Ric Flair
Comment: Jack Brisco
We are getting older too. In a worst case scenario, what if one of us gets dementia and starts randomly deleting all old posts / comments / replies they made that were full of great information not realizing they were doing it?
