I am curious how many of the Moondogs are still alive. The same question applies to Richard Lee, who used to manage the Moondogs. Is Richard still alive? Thiere is surprisingly very little about Richard Lee on the internet. He just seemed to disappear completely from Memphis and never showed up again. Not sure what he did or what promotion he went to when he left Memphis / USWA.

Good questions. I thought Richard Lee was excellent as a manager.

Outside of his run in Memphis between 1991 and 1993, nothing else is out there, wrestling wise. I am curious what else he did. He was a natural talker for sure. Could he have had another career in radio perhaps somewhere in the area?

If Wikipedia is anything to go by, all of the core Moondog members(King, spot spike, rex, and Cujo) are deceased. If you count Fifi as a moondog, she is deceased too.
Moondog King passed away on August 26, 2005
Moondog Rex(Randy Colley) passed away on December 14, 2019
Moondog Spot (Larry Latham) passed away on November 29, 2003 from a heart attack during Jerry Lawler birthday bash show.
Moondog Cujo passed away on January 13, 2009
Moondog Fifi(Diane Von Hoffman) passed away on July 6, 2017

Richard was a friend of Bill Smithson, and knew Latham as well. He was a country singer who had written some wrestling related tunes. I met him before he got into wrestling, and never made the connection until years later he was the Dog's manager. I haven't a clue where he is these days.

My brothers and I talked to Richard Lee in the parking lot at the Evansville Coliseum. He was so nice and not like anything like the heel manager he portrayed.
