nothing really about his stint in wrestling here apart from a small mention in his profile.

Tom Magee was 3rd Runner-Up in PWI's 1986 Rookie Of The Year "voting".  I have no idea where he wrestled in '86 (I don't believe he arrived in the WWF until '87).  The picture in the magazine is the same pic as the one on the mcshane link previously posted.

In what had to be a very, very rare TV appearance for this wrestler--on either WWF SUPERSTARS or WRESTLING CHALLENGE, when previewing the wrestlers appearing the following week, the announcers mentioned that "Mega-Man" Tom Magee would be wrestling, with manager Jimmy Hart (they even showed a photo/still of Magee making his ring entrance with Hart at his side).

Needless to say, not only was Jimmy Hart dropped as Tom Magee's manager (and no explanation necessary for this forgettable stint that probably nobody remembers), but Magee himself droppped out of sight as well.

i just found out this on this site, i really dont remember that anyone knows the year of this , or the exact date ?

I just discovered this post when looking up Bret Hart Tom Magee threads.... this is amazing, I never realized that Magee was actually pictured and advertised on one of the syndicated TV shows. If anyone has more details about this, that would be great. My guess is they were planning on featuring him on a syndicated match, but then he was so bad the match never aired. But, if that was the case I thought they taped enough ahead of time where they wouldn't have even advertised him for the next week. All these years later does anyone have any more info on this?

He wrestled Bret Hart at a TV taping I attended in LaCrosse Wisconsin, and he did indeed have Jimmy Hart in his corner, but that match never aired on TV... and I doubt it was advertised the week before on TV ...and if it was they wouldn't have just said Tom Magee would be wrestling... and ignore the fact that Bret Hart would be his opponent... but based on the fact he was with Jimmy Hart I am guessing this was somewhere in that General time frame. The date I saw them wrestle was May 16th 1989

A simple dark match. During some dark matches they will lab test certain ideas such as Jimmy Hart being with Magee.
It was about 4 months or more until Jim Hellwig made his Ultimate Warrior Superstars show debut.
I recently saw his debut match v Terry Gibbs on YT that did not have entrance music for UW.

What syndicated episode did they hype a Magee match?

I remember they hyped Battle Kat on Superstars once and it never happened. They said Sheri scared him away. He did appear on Challenge though.

Since I bumped a thread in honor of the anniversary this week of the hart MaGee dark match I attended live, just wondering if anyone ever figured out the time frame or show where they hyped that next week Tom Magee would appear with Jimmy hart?
