Good point...Bruno probably have visions in his head of having to run off to random local high schools on a Friday or Saturday night to verify whether the attendance was 500 or 300

By all accounts, Vince Sr. was a stand up and honest businessman. The only person I have ever heard say a bad word about VJM is Bruno.
VJM and Bruno had an adversarial relationship from the start. But came together in 63 for their mutual financial benefit.
Bruno was the company in 69. If he walked out of the WWWF without notice that would have been a problem a big problem. He was wrestling full time schedule, all the big shows, so as partner would have access to attendance figures where the money was made. High school gyms kept the wrestlers working.
Hard to fathom why he would turn down partnership especially a short time later he bought Pittsburgh

And McMahon says he doesn't want any outsiders coming into the business so Bruno says he will just continue to wrestle. Not clear if Bruno wanted to bring in investors. In any case Bruno says the 50% then went to Monsoon Zacko and Skoaland
