Gary Hart seemed to go into semi-retirement for a lot of years before resurfacing in 2003 in MLW. I have a few questions regarding this:
1) What were the reasons that he suddenly decided to return to the business after so long and did he enjoy working for a start up company like MLW?
2) Were there any talks of him coming into TNA or WWE
3) Before his death, did he have any plans to return to the business in any capacity or was he content to stay away from the business.
Gary Hart was one of my favourites, both onscreen and as far as a creative mind went. When Lord Tensai debuted in the WWE last year, I always thought "if Gary Hart was still around, he'd have talked us into believing this guy was a killer". Tensai was handled so poorly. Someone like a Gary Hart would haven been awesome in the role of putting him over as a personality.

I agree with you on Lord Tensai
I loved that character when he first debuted because he was a straight throwback to the good ole days
Take a white guy, shave his head and BOOM!! instant foreign monster capable of unspeakable destruction
And now hes a break dancer
Damn you WWE!!

Pretty sure he got involved with MLW to help his son, Chad, get a break there, and probably also his relationship with Terry Funk. But MLW folded not long after.

I think his nephew Court Bauer was involved as well. That may have been his reasoning for helping them out.

Talked with Mr. Hart at the Sportatorium during its demolition and the impression I got was that he was finished and had no desire to be involved further in the business, in fact, it appeared to me, and meaning no disrespect, that he was pretty reclusive at that time and seemed fairly uncomfortable being there.

What are the chances of another Matthew Farmer. It just doesnt seem like an overly common name.I am also a fan of classic pinball and built a huge pinball arcade with about 80 machines.
Have a look.
