I am curious if anybody has more information about this wrestler.
Real name: Alfred Albert Joseph de Real Gardiur
He was born 1881 in Luxmburg and I only got a little info that he wrestled in El Paso from 1922 - 1925 and then in Amarillo from 1925 - 1935. The databases know more than 200 of his bouts but wherever I am lookig for, I can't find any biographic info (family, original job, remarkable moments etc.). Asking Google for his ring name "Dutch Mantell" it only shows me Maurice Keown, asking for his real name, then absolutely no results are found.
Does anybody know this guy and have a little bit more for me?

Ron Fuller goes in depth on the original Dutch Mantell on an episode of his Studcast podcast. Unfortunately I don't remember which episode and Ron has done 278 episodes. It's a pretty interesting story, Dutch trained Ron's grandfather Roy Welch to wrestle.

Well, he looks like a vicious heel to me. Showing shades of The Brooklyn Brawler here. From Luxembourg to Amarillo is an interesting journey. Lots of immigrants from the rural areas of Luxembourg, Germany and France.
