Widow Maker started a thread about Sid and Taker turning at the same time. Anybody remember any matches or programs where there was a double turn?

Demolition-Powers of Pain
For my money the Murdoch-Dibiase-Flair angle is the greatest double turn ever. They cemented Murdoch's heel turn, he had been showing signs of bitterness since losing to babyface Butch Reed and turned Dibiase into a face in one hour.

Demolition-Powers of Pain r.

That was the first one I thought of

Bret Hart vs Steve Austin Wrestlemania 13

Flair vs Hogan in WCW.  I think it was in 99.  It was a pretty crappy double turn and I barely remember the details.

It was the WCW world title by that point, not NWA.

Never liked the Windham-Luger double turn - Flair had the world title belt so Luger is awarded the Florida Title with a new plate on it. Not to mention the crowd chanting We Want Flair during the match.

That Windham-Luger match was one of the biggest disasters I'd ever seen prior to the final year or two of WCW.    The bookers made a bad situation even worse by turning Luger heel on that show.  Why not at least attempt to send the already upset fans home happy with a babyface victory at the end?

It seems to me that most double-turns are pretty lame, which makes the brilliant conceived and executing Hart-Austin double turn seem all the more impressive.

I only read about the DiBiase-Murdoch double-turn and never actually saw it, but it was clearly an example of great booking too.

Yeah, the DiBiase & Murdoch angle in Mid-South is the best one I ever saw.  It was the first one I thought of reading the header.

Gene Kiniski & Mr. X [unmasked as Guy Michell] in Vancouver did a double turn in the unmasking match, with Kiniski going heel & Michell going face.

even at the beginning of that match DiBiase is clearly playing the heel when he calls Murdoch "yesterday's news' two minutes later he was a face. Watts deserves credit for putting Dibiase over when he cut that promo outside the dressing room announcing Ted was going to wrestle.

One of the best angles ever

Mike Rickard wrote about the Murdoch/DiBiase/Flair program in his book "Wrestling's Greatest Moments". The mess below is the link to it. Maybe somebody can put a proper link up, but it's beyond me. Does sound like a great storyline.

http://books.google.ca/books?id=vDQQg4IBJPMC&pg=PT33&lpg=PT33&dq=murdoch+dibiase &source=bl&ots=b3IWMtTAix&sig=Kpi2psQg9BTcjqApUn5YWdg-9OA&hl=en&sa=X&ei=ZC8mVK3P Ncz5yQTcm4GwCw&ved=0CDEQ6AEwBA#v=onepage&q=murdoch%20dibiase&f=false

Found the video on DM, link below.
