I'd be interested to hear the argument for Ivan Koloff, about whom I am divided. On the one hand, he got his heel gimmick over in a number of major promotions over close to two decades, he had main event programs against many of his generation's top star (most notably Bruno), and he was one-half of one of the more historically significant matches of the era. On the other hand, his biggest impact on the business was as a twenty-two day transitional champion, he was never one of the very top draws, and he wasn't an innovator in any sense. Is he any more deserving than Orndorff or Greg Valentine, neither of whom is in the HOF?
