Saw online that Ross Township, where Bruno Sammartino lived the last 58 years, will be changing the name of a local park to Sammartino park.
Well deserved i say.

Would have been very nice to have renamed the park in honor of Sammartino while the Living Legend was still with us, so he could have been aware of the honor, and be able to enjoy it........Still, I agree, it is a very well-deserved gesture.......

Two statues were commissioned in Bruno's honor ,one in Pizzaferratto Italy, his hometown and the other displayed at WWE fan access. Add a comic book series, Larry Richert's involved Bruno documentary,Dapper Dan,South Oakland sign,Bruno day in Jersey City NJ and a Marshal for Columbus Day and Little Italy in NYC.Also the Bruno and Carol foundation out of Latrobe .Now WWE is selling a replica of his statue.Time for Pittsburgh to also step up with a rememberence.
