Would it be possible for some people who still have copies of old Apter magazines to post copies/screenshots of the Rankings pages? I think it would be fun to look back at the different territories and time periods to see where the wrestlers were ranked monthly. (Checking out the rankings was my favorite part of seeing those new editions)!

Ratings ending early March 1984, a great time in pro wrestling for fans. Territories were red hot.

If you want just the rankings, Wrestledata.com is still the best place to go. PWI500

Great point, old school dude. In the 1970s and 1980s the Apter mags were often 2-3 months behind what was currently happening. For example, the July 1984 PWI hit newsstands and reported that the ratings were current as of March 9, 1984.
Loved PWI, The Wrestler, Inside Wrestling in the 80s!!

Thanks for the thought. It looks like those are just the PWI Top 500 and it only goes back to 1991. At least, from what I can tell.
yep, that's true. I posted just because I thought if someone is obsessed with rankings (like I am) it could be useful info
