Baron Von Raschke was in Florida from May 1980-February 1981. He defeated Barry Windham for the NWA Florida Television Title on November 21, 1980 and lost it at some point to Manny Fernandez. He lost a Bounty match against Dusty Rhodes in December 1980.

He also had runs in Georgia and JCP. He was ok but wasn't a huge fan. After reading about him in AWA for years in mags I was expecting more.
Same here. I didn't find his ring style very entertaining. It was kind of just slow and plodding (but not in a favorable Harley Race slow and plodding perfection kind of way). But he had a ton of charisma carrying him along quite well.

Yes completely different when he worked for WWA and DTB. As a kid remember watching him live and he scared the crap out of me and my buddies. We tried to convince our parents to take us to the airport next time he wrestled so we could see his plane come in from Berlin!!!! Obviously we knew he couldn't drive all the way from there!!!!
