This was the first time where all four Horsemen were in an eight man tag team match. Was this Dusty's idea? A Horsemen's idea?
Greensboro, NC - Coliseum - August 30, 1986
Nelson Royal defeated Sam Houston
Bill Dundee defeated Mark Fleming
Don Kernodle defeated Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Black Bart
Buddy Landell defeated Hector Guerrero
Big Bubba defeated Warlord in Louisville streetfight
National Heavyweight Champion Wahoo McDaniel/Dick Murdoch defeated Bobby Eaton/Dennis Condrey by DQ
Dusty Rhodes/Magnum TA/NWA Tag Team Champions Ricky Morton/Robert Gibson defeated NWA World Champion Ric Flair/Tully Blanchard, NWA TV Champion Arn Anderson/Ole Anderson

That is a good piece of trivia, that the four horsemen actually lost their very first match

I think the Four Horsemen name was mentioned in fall 1985 to refer to Arn, Ole, Tully and Ric was Ole was out of the ring from Janary 1, 1986 - June 14, 1986

I would imagine it was Dusty's idea as he was the booker.

That's a source of much debate, AndreHulkHartUndertaker.
Consider that Flair and the Andersons were clearly a unit going into Starrcade '85, but Blanchard was paired with Baby Doll and Dillon managed Buddy Landell, a Flair rival, at that same show.
I've mentioned before that the original incarnation of the Four Horsemen only appeared as an official faction at one Starrcade (1986).
