I was 9-years-old when Miss Atlanta Lively appeared in the NWA.

I did not recognize Ronnie Garvin under the dresses, make-up, and wig.  I feel I've only learned Garvin played that role recently, via forums like this one.  Tell me, did the announcers or the heels he opposed make any allusions to Lively being Garvin "in drag," or was the gimmick played with a straight face?

I was so young that any references to "cross-dressing" would've flown right over my head.  Was this angle played for laughs with the assumption that everyone knew it was Ronnie Garvin dressed as a woman?

I was 11 or 12 years old at Starrcade 85 and did not know that Ron Garvin was portraying Miss Atlanta Lively.

I was the same age. Look up Flair’s date with Precious in 1987. It’s hilarious. Garvin reprises this role.

Miss Atlanta Lively was PURTY.  There should've been a lingerie match between her & Bertha  Von  Rashke !
